Sœurette Bruno, born on March 20, 1997, in Citronnier, Léogâne, is a Haitian singer. Her journey combines music, social engagement, and a professional career in nursing.
The youngest of twelve children, she grew up in a family where music played an important role. From an early age, she sang with her sisters, gradually developing her voice and interest in music.
Early Musical Career
At the age of 16, Sœurette Bruno began singing publicly at church. Her performances attracted attention and encouraged her to participate in several singing competitions.
At 17, she won a Christmas singing competition, marking an important stage in her artistic development.
She later performed alongside Jean Jean Roosevelt, an experience that helped broaden her presence on the music scene and led to appearances at various events, particularly in Léogâne. She performed at weddings, celebrations, the Dîner en Blanc, and events held at Plage Boucanier.
Education and Professional Career
Alongside her musical activities, Sœurette Bruno studied nursing sciences at the Help School of Nursing.
After earning her nursing degree, she also became a teacher at the institution where she had studied, combining her professional responsibilities with the development of her musical career.
Musical Career
Beginning in 2023, Sœurette Bruno expanded her repertoire and released several interpretations and original songs.
Her recorded covers include Des milliers de je t’aime, originally performed by Slimane, and Secret, by Louane.
Her original repertoire includes Se Vre (2023), Li Fè Dega (2024), Kle Lavi (2024), and Hystériques (2025).
Produced by Staniski, Hystériques forms part of the development of her first EP.
